• Career Preparation 

     

    Career Preparation engages students in the process of career development.  This course focuses on guiding student exploration of their skills and interests as well as career resources and trends.Each unit has a project -based activity designed to lead students through all steps of this process.   

  • Business Management
     
    This course is designed to familiarize students with the concepts related to business management as well as the functions of management, including planning, organizing, staffing, leading, and controlling.  Students will also demonstrate interpersonal and project-management skills.  Students are encouraged to participate in extended learning experiences such as career and technical student organizations and other leadership or extracurricular organizations, such as Youth Entrepreneurs (YE) or Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA).
     
  • Business Information Management 1

    A study of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, and Publisher) to assist beginner students with adequate knowledge of how to successfully navigate basic computer applications.  The emphasis of this course will be to develop an understanding of the vast uses of a computer and basic application programs.

  • Corsicana ISD Academic Grading Policy

    Grades per nine weeks:
    Per the policy that is attached there is to be a minimum of 6 daily grades and 3 major grades each nine weeks.
     
    Retest/Test
    Per the policy that is attached students will only be allowed to re-test after 4 school days of being notified of the failing grade and after having received re-teaching of the testing content.
