CTE Mission
The Corsicana ISD Career and Technical Education Department (CTE) will engage, equip, and empower 21st-century learners, while incorporating new and emerging foundation skills needed to perform tasks proficiently at current industry standards.
CTE Programs of Study
Corsicana ISD offers fourteen different programs of study. Each program includes a coherent sequence of courses, industry-based certifications, and work-based learning experiences to ensure our students are equipped for high-wage, high-demand careers. All students choose a program of study that aligns with their interests and goals to better prepare them for a career, technical school, two-year college, or four-year university. Our CTE students can gain valuable technical skills and industry-based certifications needed for direct entry into a global workforce or to continue their post-secondary education.
