Biography

My name is Liliana Francia. This is my 3rd year teaching Spanish and my 2nd at CHS. During this time, I have taught Spanish I, Spanish II and Dual Credit Spanish I & II. As a Spanish teacher, my goal is to help students achieve fluency and proficiency, while helping students appreciate different cultural perspectives and gain competency in the Spanish language. Sharing a love of language and travel is a passion of mine; and it is a privilege to expose my students to a rich and diverse culture. I look forward to a great school year! Should you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I am a graduate of Texas A&M University at Commerce where I received my masters in Pedagogy in Spanish. Before attending A&M Commerce, I attended The University of Texas at Tyler where I received my bachelor’s in science. I am from Guadalajara, Jalisco, México. When I can to the United States, I was 15 years old and lived in Wisconsin for a year. After that, my family and I moved to Texas and I graduated from Kerens HS. Teaching and helping others, have always been something that I love to do and every year that I teach I learn something knew from each student. I just recently married my husband Roger, who is a CHS graduate.

If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out to me.  I look forward to communicating with each of you at some point during the school year.
