Dr. Diane Frost

Dr. Diane Frost is in her 11th year as Superintendent of Corsicana ISD. She is involved at the state and local level, serving on the Legislative Committee for the Texas Association of School Administrators and the Regional Advisory Board for Region 12 Education Service Center. She was the 2015-2016 Superintendent of the Year for Region 12. Locally, she serves on the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau and Chamber of Commerce Boards and is a member of various local organizations.


Dr. Frost has several degrees and certifications, including a Master of Science in Education Administration from the University of Tennessee and a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of North Texas. She gained experience as Deputy Superintendent at Lake Travis ISD from 2006 to 2010. She served in administrative positions in Carroll ISD and Duncanville ISD, and she previously taught English and special education.

She and her husband, Ken, have been married for 35 years, and they have two daughters and sons-in-law. Their oldest daughter, Dr. Bess Frost, is a research scientist in the field of aging and dementia. She is married to Erik Hunter, and they have two children, Charlotte and Davis.

Their youngest daughter, Rachel Hicks, is the Executive Director of Marketing and Communications for the Region 10 Education Service Center. She and her husband, David Hicks, have one child.
